- If it is an IDE HD then its just the case of connecting it to
- the internal IDE port and formating it. If it is the SCSI
- version you will need something like the Squirrel SCSI
- interface+PSU for the HD.
-
- >2) Is that Blizzard SCSI-II module out?

- Hmm... i don`t know.

- The Quantum Fireball can be stuck inside the case (i have a
- Quantum Maverick in mine with no case alterations, it`s a tight
- fit but it`s in there!)
-
- The blank slot could be used to trail the cable from the
- internal IDE port to an exterior case if you want to do so.)
-
- >4) What's the difference 'tween SCSI-II, Fast and Wide?
-
- Aren`t they the same ? I don`t know.
-
- >5) Can I use Fast-SCSI with that module?
-
- Yes SCSI-2 drives can be used, the extra features will just be
- ignored if not supoorted by the module.
-
- >6) Can a PC be used to read my HD?
-
- If you format for example one of your partitions in MS-DOS
- format and then let the PC know *exactly* the cylinder numbers
- of that partition it **might** be able to read the data.
-
- >7) Is there anything else I've not considered?
-
- Personally i would just cram the IDE Fireball in the Amiga (in
- the middle, under the keyboard, (you have to remove a small
- metal plate that covers the Chip ram, make sure nothing shorts
- out on the RF shielding.)
-
- >8) Doesn't the Goliath power supply look gross?
-
- Yes that is one ugly sucker!, i haven`t needed one yet, in all
- my Amigas i have never had a PSU fault!
